The Challenge
Caskcap, a whisky investment broker, needed a CRM system that could do more than manage leads and proposals. As their business grew, they required a platform capable of handling client portfolios, tracking whisky stock, and giving investors direct access to their accounts. Alongside this, the CRM had to integrate with external platforms to ensure data accuracy and reduce manual work.
The project demanded a balance between standard CRM functionality — leads, proposals, invoicing, and reporting — and investment-specific features such as stock management and investor visibility.
Our Solution
We developed a bespoke CRM platform designed specifically for the whisky investment industry. At its core, the system managed leads, proposals, and client communications, but we extended it with features unique to Caskcap’s needs.
A secure client portal was created, allowing investors to log in and track their whisky stock and portfolio performance. To ensure data accuracy and reduce admin, we also built a custom API integration with Proof 8, enabling automatic synchronisation of stock and investment data.
The result was a single system where Caskcap could manage their internal operations while providing a professional, transparent client experience.
The Results
Caskcap’s new CRM has become a central hub for both the business and its investors. Clients can now access their whisky stock data at any time through the portal, improving transparency and trust. Internally, the CRM streamlines lead management, proposal generation, and reporting, while the Proof 8 integration keeps investment data up to date without manual input.
The platform gives Caskcap the tools to scale efficiently, reduces operational overhead, and provides clients with a digital experience that matches the expectations of a modern investment company.
