Configured in the build, not added later
On plugin-heavy sites, security often means chasing updates to code you didn’t write. A Bones site has no plugin stack, so there are fewer third-party parts to keep patched, and we set up security headers, HTTPS rules and spam protection on forms as part of the build. It still needs updates and monitoring.

Bones treats a website as a structured system, not a set of pages. Each kind of information, such as a service, a location or a person, is stored once as a record, and Bones builds the pages, the structured data and the sitemap from it.

Facts such as opening hours or a service description live in one record. Change the record and every page, listing and footer that shows it follows, so pages don’t drift apart.

Templates, content and structured-data code are kept apart. A redesign changes the templates; the records, and the structured data built from them, stay as they are.

Read by search and AI
Bones generates Schema.org JSON-LD for each page and AIDI summaries for the site from the same records as the pages. When the content changes, the structured data changes with it.
